At the Board of Certified Emergency Providers (BCEP), our instructors are experienced professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality emergency preparedness education. Each instructor is selected based on professional experience, instructional ability, and a shared commitment to helping others develop the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively during emergencies.
Our instructional team brings decades of experience in emergency response, occupational safety and health, construction safety, industrial hygiene, and adult education. Through engaging, hands-on instruction, BCEP instructors prepare students with practical, evidence-based skills that can help save lives.

Jamie Fore, SMP, CHST, CIT
Founder & Executive Director
Jamie Fore is the Founder and Executive Director of the Board of Certified Emergency Providers (BCEP). With more than 34 years of experience in occupational safety, emergency response, and adult education, Jamie holds three BCSP credentials — the Safety Management Professional® (SMP®), a senior-level designation requiring a minimum of ten years of safety management experience; the Construction Health and Safety Technician® (CHST®); and the Certified Instructional Trainer® (CIT®) — and has trained thousands of individuals in CPR, First Aid, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety.
A former EMT and OSHA Outreach Trainer, Jamie currently holds active certifications as an HSI Instructor Trainer, AVIRT Instructor, and Stop the Bleed Instructor. He has led safety programs on major infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast, with a mission to advance emergency preparedness through high-quality education, professional certification, and instructor development.

Senior Safety & Emergency Preparedness Instructor
Mark Hasting is a highly accomplished safety and health professional with extensive experience in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental health. Holding the prestigious Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) credentials, Mark has dedicated his career to helping organizations improve workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
As a BCEP instructor, he brings exceptional technical knowledge and real-world experience to emergency preparedness and safety education.

Brian K. Cichetti, CHST
Director of Construction Industry Relations
Brian K. Cichetti, CHST, is a highly respected construction safety professional with more than 40 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry. For more than 26 years, he has served as the Corporate Safety Director for a major heavy civil construction company, where he has led the development and oversight of corporate safety programs, managed teams of safety professionals, and helped ensure the safe delivery of some of the nation's largest transportation and infrastructure projects.
Throughout his career, Brian has worked closely with project owners, contractors, labor organizations, and regulatory agencies to strengthen workplace safety, mentor safety professionals, and promote a culture of operational excellence. His project experience includes leadership roles on high-profile projects including the World Trade Center redevelopment, Second Avenue Subway, NJ Transit, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and numerous other major public works projects throughout the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area.
Brian holds the Construction Health and Safety Technician® (CHST®) credential and is an OSHA Authorized Construction Outreach Trainer. He has served as an adjunct instructor with the Rutgers School of Public Health OSHA Training Center, where he has helped educate construction and safety professionals in OSHA standards, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety.
Paul Lopez

Paul Lopez
Senior CPR/AED & Emergency Preparedness Instructor
Paul Lopez is an experienced safety professional with more than two decades of construction safety experience on major infrastructure and public works projects throughout the New York metropolitan area. Prior to his construction safety career, Paul served for ten years as a police officer with the New York City Police Department.
Throughout his career, he has held safety leadership positions on major transportation, bridge, subway, and heavy construction projects, helping organizations promote safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and employee safety.
Paul has extensive experience teaching CPR, AED, and emergency preparedness. During the early 2000s, he partnered with BCEP Founder and Executive Director Jamie Fore to train hundreds of New York City teachers in life-saving CPR and emergency response skills. His practical teaching style, combined with decades of real-world safety experience, enables him to present emergency care concepts in a clear, engaging, and confidence-building manner.
